hello!
I'm Aindriele, a third-year design student at the University of Alberta studying Industrial and Visual Communication Design. As a student in both two-dimensional and three-dimensional design, I am most interested in how the two can overlap and inform each other in my own work.

In my Industrial Design work, I'm often drawn to architecture and the surrounding built environment. As well, I enjoy bringing in graphic elements, through lines and contrast in form, material, and colours.

The same goes for my Visual Communication Design work, while leaning more into image-making and texture. Photography is a big part of this, and outside of design, I often try to brush up my skills on both analog and digital photography, and I try to integrate it into my work whenever I can.

I'm often drawn to the visual contrast between grungy visuals and modernist design. I like working with these two, combining rough textures with clean layouts. I also enjoy playing with typography and pushing it to feel expressive while still keeping it readable. Across everything I make, I aim to create work that feels connected across both Industrial Design and Visual Communication Design disciplines.
