project overview
As the elected Graphics Lead for the 2026–2027 Student Design Association (SDA) team alongside Marielle Abad, we led the development of a refreshed visual identity system that reflects the energy of the organization. The project encompassed a full rework of the SDA’s visual language, including a new logo, colour palette, and a suite of print and digital promotional materials used across campus and social media.
The identity embraces a bold and expressive approach, built on a vibrant colour palette, dynamic compositions, and layered textures that create a sense of visual tactility. Drawing from the playful, experimental nature of design students, the system leans into a “design student core” aesthetic: prioritizing movement, contrast, and personality over rigidity. The goal was to capture the spirit of SDA as a space creative, social, and community-driven, fostering a sense of belonging through visuals that feel energetic and approachable.
